Mark Clemmit, known to many as Clem, is renowned for his relaxed access all areas style as the features reporter on BBC One′s Football Focus.

He is also part of the channel's studio presentation team on the country's most watched results programme Final Score and a reporter for Match of the Day Live.

In addition he is one of the longest established voices on BBC Radio 5 Live and has hosted the station’s flagship 5 Live Sport programme and their coverage of The Great North Run

Mark has also reported for BBC One's topical daily magazine programme,The One Show

In 2014 Mark presented a new peak time consumer series for BBC One, How Safe is Your House. The series saw him confront dodgy builders

and tackle a number of rogue tradesmen.

His additional role, very much in keeping with the one he’s established over the past decade and a half, as one of English football’s most familiar voices and faces – specialising in life below the Premier League and often championing the role of the underdog.

An immensely popular event, conference and awards presenter, he has worked extensively for English football’s main organisations, sponsors and beyond.

For the Football Association themselves he has facilitated a diverse range of activities covering everything from disability issues to the launch of the

new England kit (with David Beckham) and numerous commercial events (alongside Sven Goran Erikson, Fabio Capello, Roy Hodgson and Sam Allardyce).

He is also a regular host for both the Professional Footballers Association and the League Managers Association

Other clients include Capital One, Carlsberg, Coca Cola (with Wayne Rooney), E.On, Marie Curie Cancer Care, n power, Pepsi, Reebok (with Thierry Henry), Rolls Royce and Tesco (with Frank Lampard).

Mark has previously written a weekly column for The Times and was a member of the original presentation team on BT Sport.

A keen walker, Mark's conquests include Hadrian's Wall and the London Thames Path. He was part of a football charity trek to the summit of Mount

Kilimanjaro that raised £250,000 for Marie Curie Cancer Care.

For many years Clem was the match day reporter for BBC One's The Football League Show, where he built up a reputation for his entertaining behind the scenes features.

He describes his broadcasting career as a happy accident. While running his own fashion business, a chance comment on the way home from a football match led to his idea for a radio fanzine programme, dedicated to his local team – Middlesbrough.

Producing and recording a pilot, Red Balls On Fire was initially given a 5 week run on BBC Local Radio. Within 9 months and on a budget of just £50.00 per week, it was nominated for a prestigious Sony Radio Award, repeating the feat a year later.

Mark's TV credits include: Match of the Day 2, BBC Breakfast, BBC News Channel, ITV's David Beckham:A Footballer's story and presenting the North East and London editions of Late Kick Off. A Regional RTS Awards winner, he also worked for BBC TV in the North East.
